Enrique Monteagudo is a Registered Patent Attorney in private practice who has a strong interest in helping entrepreneurs and businesses thrive. He has over 10 years preparing, prosecuting, and searching patents in corporate, law firm, and private practice settings. Enrique has broad technical aptitude across the physical arts (electrical, mechanical, systems, and devices). He is also the founder of Privateer Lounge Innovation Center and the organizer of South Bay Entrepreneurs meetup group dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs and fostering the tech startup ecosystem in the San Diego / Tijuana binational region. Outside of patents, tech startups, and cross-border economic development, Enrique has worked as an engineer in the aerospace industry, is an officer in the IEEE San Diego Section, and is a US Air Force Veteran.
Enrique holds a J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law, and a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego. In addition, he is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the Arizona State Bar.
