Storage Visions 2015 information for the Rising Stars Conference
The Rising Stars Conference is a partner event to the annual Storage Visions Conference. The Storage Visions Conference is a sponsor for the Rising Stars Conference. The 2015 Storage Visions Conference, January 4 & 5, 2015 in the Grande Ballroom of the Riviera Hotel Convention Center.
The 2015 Storage Visions Conference invites 2015 Rising Stars Conference attendees to attend the Storage Visions Reception the evening of January 4, 2015. We are also looking for Rising Stars Conference candidates to join the Storage Visions Conference in a Rising Stars, Young Engineers panel during Storage Visions on January 5, 2015, moderated by David Reinsel of IDC. These panelists will have free admission to the Storage Visions Conference and the CES Exhibits that open on January 6, 2015. The deadline to submit as a panelist is December 6, 2014. We have a special early registration rate for attending the second day of the 2015 Storage Visions Conference and getting free admission to the CES exhibits starting on January 6, 2015 in the Las Vegas Convention Center right across the street from the Riviera Hotel. This rate is $50 and covers food costs for that day (note that regular one day registration is $595). You will be asked for your IEEE membership number when you register. Attendees of the 2015 Storage Visions Conference will have opportunities to attend sessions and keynote talks, visit with our exhibitors and attendees (Rising Star Conference attendees are invited to bring copies of their resumes to SV 2015—many of these companies will be looking for new employees).
The 14th annual Storage Visions Conference focuses on the latest digital storage technology from the device and system side and their commercial and consumer applications. The 2015 conference theme is “Storage With Intense Network Growth” (SWING). This theme focuses on the impact of pervasive networking and intelligent systems on the growth and applications of digital storage. This includes the rise of cloud based applications and services, the emergence of the Internet of Things (or the Internet of Everything) and how this will impact the growth and uses of digital stored content. The conference features major industry keynotes and sessions with industry experts as well as an exhibit floor with leading companies and organizations showing their products and services.
